Ethan Parks

Ethan Parks is a Director in the Fixed Income Group at Bel Air Investment Advisors, where he is responsible for municipal and corporate credit research. He brings extensive experience evaluating credit opportunities across municipal markets, with a background spanning investment management, banking, ratings and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Bel Air, Ethan managed the credit surveillance process for ORIX USA’s $2 billion municipal portfolio. Previously, he was responsible for credit research for Delphi Capital Management’s Municipal High Yield portfolio, including security selection, structuring, and surveillance. Earlier in his career, Ethan spent seven years at Deutsche Bank providing credit research for the bank’s $1 billion tax-exempt and taxable municipal portfolio.

Ethan also held a credit research role at Lehman Brothers, where he supported the high-yield trading desk and published municipal high-yield credit research for trading clients. During his time there, he was named to the Institutional Investors All-America Fixed Income Research Team twice. He previously worked at Fitch Ratings in the Commercial Real Estate Group covering healthcare REITs and began his career at MBIA, providing credit management for the firm’s $25 billion healthcare portfolio.

Ethan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Manhattanville University.
