Josh Markman

Josh joined Bel Air Investment Advisors LLC in 2008 as an investment advisor. He is responsible for providing investment advice to private clients, tax-exempt organizations, and endowments. This includes a deep understanding of investment objectives, portfolio construction, manager selection, risk analysis and next generation/estate planning. He is a voting member of the Executive Committee, which is responsible for the firm’s management, and is also on the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Bel Air, Josh worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in Los Angeles where he was a Vice President in the Investment Management Division. He specialized in fixed income, equity, and alternative investing for wealthy families as well as institutional investors. He is an active member of the community. He is very involved in supporting The Motion Picture and Television Fund, and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association where he regularly conducts interviews for high school seniors applying to Penn.

Josh received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania as well as an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business. Josh lives in LA with his wife and two kids. He enjoys paddle tennis, golf, and skiing.
