Patrick Strollo joined Bel Air Investment Advisors in 2024 as Head of Credit Research. In this role, Patrick oversees and directs the practice’s proprietary credit research process across the municipal, corporate, and government bond markets. With over 16 years of industry experience, Patrick has a deep background in managing diverse portfolios and conducting credit research across multiple asset classes and sectors.
Patrick is a CFA charter holder and an active member of the CFA Institute. Before joining Bel Air, he was Vice President and Investment Officer at Richard K. Mellon and Sons, where he managed the publicly traded assets for a multibillion-dollar family office and foundation. Prior to that, he spent over 15 years at Federated Hermes, where he held various roles and specialized in credit research and portfolio management.
Patrick is also dedicated to giving back to the community through his involvement with several organizations. He volunteers with Junior Achievement, helping young people develop essential financial literacy and career readiness skills. In addition, Patrick is actively involved with VTVCARE, an organization focused on providing support and resources to victims of gun violence and their families.
Patrick earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Global Business from Virginia Tech. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing golf.
